Inaugural Newsroom Cambodia training session comes to close
The inaugural 12-week training session of Newsroom Cambodia came to a close Friday. Group I produced 48 stories during three months running from September to November. Group II is scheduled to start December 11.

When the news breaks your way
Sometimes the big news breaks in your favor. Kem Sokha, the leading opposition politician who has been under house arrest for more than two years, was released from home confinement over the weekend. (VOD has the full story)
Trainees from the Newsroom were on hand for their first taste of a big-breaking national news story. And they had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Sokha, U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia W. Patrick Murphy, and other dignitaries at Mr. Sokha’s home in Phnom Penh.
